AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHING-
TON, ANNEXING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY COMMONLY
KNOWN AS THE 51ST AVENUE SOUTH ANNEXATION TO
SAID CITY PURSUANT TO THE PETITION METHOD SET
FORTH IN RCW CHAPTER 35A.14; REQUIRING SAID
PROPERTY TO BE ASSESSED AND TAXED AT THE SAME
RATE AND BASIS AS OTHER PROPERTY WITHIN SAID
CITY; AND FIXING THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF
ANNEXATION.
WHEREAS, the City Council, at its regular public
meeting of April 2, 1984, held a public hearing for the pur-
pose of considering a petition for annexation of certain
property hereinafter described, and at the conclusion of said
hearing having determined that the property commonly known as
the 51st Avenue South Annexation more particularly described
in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated in full by
this reference, which property is contiguous to the existing
corporate limits of the City, and is a logical extension of
the City limits, should be annexed to the City, subject to
approval by the King County Boundary Review Board, or waiver
of the Board's jurisdiction, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The territory commonly known as the 51st
Avenue South Annexation, more particularly described on Ex-
hibit A, attached hereto and incorporated in full by this
reference, should be, and is made a part of the City of Tuk-
wila, subject to approval of said annexation by the King
County Boundary Review Board or waiver of jurisdiction of the
Board.
Section 2. Pursuant to the terms of the annexation
petition, all property within the territory annexed hereby
shall be assessed and taxed at the same rate and on the same
basis as property within the City, including assessments or
taxes in payment of any bonds issued or debts contracted
prior to or existing as of the date of annexation.
Section 3. The territory annexed hereby shall become
a part of the City of Tukwila, and this ordinance shall take
effect and be in full force upon the date of approval of the
annexation by the King County Boundary Review Board, the date
upon which approval is deemed to have occurred pursuant to
RCW 36.93.100, or upon the date of waiver of juridiction of
said Board to act upon the annexation, whichever first oc-
curs.

Range 4 East Willamette Meridian.
Beginning at the northeast corner of Section 27; thence North 88 42 minutes,
38 seconds West, 128.4 feet; thence South 0 15 minutes, 15 seconds East 30.0
feet; thence South 0 15 minutes, 15 seconds East 145.2 feet; thence South 88
42 minutes, 38 seconds East, 8.46 feet more or less to the True Point of
Beginning (this point being 89.94 feet west of west line of 51st Avenue South);
