ORDINANCE NO. 130)
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
APPROPRIATING UNANTICIPATED SALES TAX REVENUES
FOR THE CHRISTENSEN TRAIL BRIDGE AND THE PURCHASE
OF A FERRARI CLOCK AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO.
1304.
WHEREAS, the City Council, by Resolution No. 853, authorized
the construction of the Christensen Trail Pedestrian Bridge to be used
also to carry the water and sewer lines to serve Southcenter South, and
WHEREAS, the Land Acquisition, Building and Development Fund
will pay 1/3 the cost and the Sewer Fund will pay the remaining 2/3,
including the Water Fund share, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved the prrchase of a
Ferrari Clock as recommended by the Arts Commission, and
WHEREAS, the Current Fund has received unanticipated sales
tax revenues in 1983 that can cover the cost of these items.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
1. The 1983 Budget of the City of Tukwila, Washington, as
adopted by Ordinance No. 1285 is hereby amended to include
the following:
