It shall be the duty of the holder of the permit to make sure that the work will stand the test prescribed before giving notification that the work is ready for inspection. 24: No water, soil, or waste pipe shall be installed or permitted outside of a building or in an exterior wall unless, adequate provision is made to protect such pipe from freezing. All hot and cold water pipes installed outside the conditioned space shall be insulated to minimum R -3. 25: Plastic and copper piping running through framing members to within one (1) inch of the exposed framing shall be protected by steel nail plates not less than 18 guage. 26: Piping through concrete or masonry walls shall not be subject to any load from building construction. No plumbing piping shall be directly embedded in concrete or masonry. 27: All pipes penetrating floor /ceiling assemblies and fire - resistance rated walls or partitions shall be protected in accordance with the requirements of the building code. 28: Piping in the ground shall be laid on a firm bed for its entire length. Trenches shall be backfilled in thin layers to twelve inches above the top of the piping with clean earth, which shall not contain stones, boulders, cinderfill, frozen earth, or construction debris. 29: The issuance of a permit or approval of plans and specifications shall not be construed to be a permit for, or an approval of, any violation of any of the provisions of the Plumbing Code or Fuel Gas Code or any other ordinance of the jurisdiction. 30: The applicant agrees that he or she will hire a licensed plumber to perform the work outlined in this permit. 31: VALIDITY OF PERMIT: The issuance or granting of a permit shall not be construed to be a permit for, or an approval of, any violation of any of the provisions of the building code or of any other ordinances of the City of Tukwila. Permits presuming to give authority to violate or cancel the provisions of the code or other ordinances of the City of Tukwila shall not be valid. Traffic Control Plans shall be submitted to the Inspector for prior approval. 36: Permit is valid between the weekday hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. only. 37: Any material spilled onto any street shall be cleaned up immediately. 38: Temporary erosion control measures shall be implemented as the first order of business to prevent sedimentation off -site or into existing drainage facilities. 39: From October 1 through April 30, cover any slopes and stockpiles that are 3H: 1V or steeper and have a vertical rise of 10 feet or more and will be unworked for greater than 12 hours. During this time period, cover or mulch other disturbed areas, if they will be unworked more than 2 days. Covered material must be stockpiled on site at the beginning of this period. Inspect and maintain this stabilization weekly and immediately before, during and following storms. 40: From May 1 through September 30, inspect and maintain temporary erosion prevention and sediment at least monthly. All disturbed areas of the site shall be permanently stabilized prior to final construction approval. 41: The site shall have permanent erosion control measures in place as soon as possible after final grading has been completed and prior to the Final Inspection. 42: Driveways shall comply with City residential standards. Driveway width shall be a 10' minimum and 20' maximum. Slope shall be a maximum of 15 %. Turning radii shall be a min.of 5'. Public Works does not allow a circular driveway. 43: The driveway shall be designed and sloped so that drainage from the driveway does not flow onto the existing road surface. 44: Storm drainage system shall be constructed per plans prepared by Walker System Design, 30914 104th Ave SE, Auburn, WA 98092, phone 253- 887 -1976. 45: PW project inspector and Walker Septic Design shall both inspect installation of the storm drainage system to assure it was installed correctly. Walker Septic Design shall submit an "AS- Built" plan with a written report that the storm drainage system was installed per plan. 46: Prior to final sign -off the applicant shall record a storm drainage plan "AS- BUILT" PLAN with maintenance requirements and planting restrictions. 47: Applicant shall obtain sanitary sewer connection permit from Valley View Sewer District @ 206 242 -3236. 48: Since WD # 125 does not inspect downstream of the Water Tukwila inspection of the water service between the WM and new house is required. In addition, the septic designer used the city handout for the foundation drain field and footing drain design. Handouts are for reference only. Provide a design specific for this property for the foundation drain field. Provide elevation and plan drawings with dimensions for each drain field to demonstrate that the septic system shall not in anyway contaminate the footing drainage system. Each drainage system design shall make reference to and be consistent with any specifications or soils conditions indicated in the geotechnical soils report.
