The proposed location of the sheds as shown on the site plan does not meet setbacks, and may encroach on property owned by the City of Tukwila. The attached map shows the approximate location of property lines, including the Park Place Apartment property and the City of Tukwila -owned property to the north of the Park Place Apartments. The required rear setback in the High- Density Residential zoning district in which the Park Place Apartments are located is 10 feet. Please ensure that the sheds are located 10 feet from the north property line. On August 18, 2009, Tukwila staff met with Lisa Genova from Tuff Shed and it was determined that the best location for at least one of the sheds is within a paved area of the parking lot that is currently not striped for, nor being used for, parking. Please revise site plans for Shed A and Shed B to show where they will be placed, noting on plans the setback distance from the rear property line. 2. Trees were recently planted on the north side of the Park Place Apartments on the parcel owned by Tukwila. Ensure that the sheds are located at least 10 feet to the south of any of these trees. 3. None of the work for installation of the sheds shall disturb the trees recently installed on Tukwila property located to the north of the Park Place Apartments.
