Based on the above, you are hereby advised to: 1) Call the City of Tukwila Inspection Request Line at 206 - 431 -2451 to schedule for the next or final inspection. Each inspection creates a new 180 day period. 2) Submit a written request for permit extension to the Permit Center at least seven (7) days before it is due to expire. Address your extension request to the Building Official and state your reason(s) for the need to extend your permit. The Building Code does allow the Building Official to approve one extension of up to 180 days. If it is determined that your extension request is granted, you will be notified by mail. In the event you do not call for an inspection and/or receive an extension prior to 06/07/2010, your permit will become null and void and any further work on the project will require a new permit and associated fees. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. 6300 Southcenter Boulevard, Suite #100 • Tukwila, Washington 98188 • Phone: 206 - 431 -3670 • Fax: 206 - 431 -3665 November 5, 2009 Shannon Miller 635 Andover Pk W Suite 107 Tukwila, WA 98188 Dear Ms. Miller, Sincerely, Enclosures File: D09 -213 • CityofTh Bill Rambo Permit Technician RE: Letter of Incomplete Application # 1 to Correction Letter #1 Development Permit Application D09 -213 Batteries Plus — 17065 Southcenter Py W:\Permit CentenIncomplete Letters \2009\D09 -213 Inc Ltr #1 to Corr Ltr # 1.DOC wer Department of Community Development This letter is to inform you that your correction letter #1 received at the City of Tukwila Permit Center on November 4, 2009 is determined to be incomplete. The revised plan shows the previously proposed wall in the Vacant Space adjacent to Batteries Plus to be removed from the plan. The unisex bathroom for Batteries Plus is in compliance with the code. However the vacant space is now larger to where that space shall require a bathroom for each sex based on the occupant load. Prior to this tenant improvement the combined space met the code for the number of bathrooms provided. By dividing up this space as proposed the other spaces shall still need to comply with the code. Therefore show provisions for the additional accessible compliant bathroom within the Vacant Space. 2. The path of egress for the Vacant Space shows connecting to two exits. Four exits are shown. Show the egress path connecting to each exit. 3. In addition to item 2), the revised plan is provided with an egress plan showing paths of egress. However the egress paths shall show emergency pathway lighting has sufficient emergency lighting to meet the 1 foot -candle requirement at the walking surface. Show the emergency lighting on the reflective ceiling plan provided along the paths of egress. (IBC Section 1006) 4.
