SEPA file No. L92 -0019
According to the SEPA Checklist, the project has not been completed
as proposed. The Checklist specifies that all disturbed areas will
be grass- seeded.
I am aware that the area has been seeded. I also understand that
the Dept. of Fisheries required as part of the HPA permit, that 6
shrubs be installed.
Both myself and Gary Schulz have visited the site and neither the
seeding has taken nor have the shrubs been .installed. It is
essential that vegetation be established to avoid potential erosion
and to improve the visual impact.
Vegetation should be installed as soon as possible. I will
reinspect the site June 30.
Thank you.

Project Name:
Southgate Creek at 133rd Bank Protection
Project Description:
The project includes construction of an inflow structure and
retaining wall to control peak storm drain events. The project would
be limited to approximately 30 feet of steambed contained within a
20 -foot wide corridor, and would consist of one of the following
construction methods:
Schedule A: Cast in place concrete retaining walls with footings and
associated trash grate;
Alternate Schedule: Keystone /Geogrid /Filter fabric retaining wall
with footings and associated trash grate.
Streambed gravel would be over - excavated, stockpiled and replaced in
kind after the infrastructure base pad has been constructed. The
base pad would include ridge concrete to slow the migration of stream
channel bedding. Top areas, which are backfilled, would provide
vegetation (wild grass seeding) in disturbed areas and indigenous
species removed, replaced in kind (not in size).
