HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 0350 - 1962 Employee Salary ScheduleORDINANCE NO. 350 EXPIRED AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE SALARIES AND COMPENSATI,NS OF OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE TOWN OF TUKWILA, AND REPEALING ALT, ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TUKWILA: Section 1. That the salaries and compensations of the various officers and employees of the Town of Tukwila are hereby set and fixed as follows, for the year 1962: Clerk 300.00 per month Treasurer 200.00 per month Mayor 133.00 per month Councilmen not to exceed 10.00 per month for each Councilman General Superintendent, Park, Town Hall 249.00 per month Attorney 200.00 per month Building Inspector 40.00 per month Superintendent, River Improvement,drainage200.00 per month Police Judge Marshal 506.00 per month Captain 494.00 per month Sergeant 470.00 per month Deputy officers 2.10 per hour not to exceed 750.88 per year Office Assistant 50.00 per month Street Superintendent Assistant Street Superintendent Engineering Supervisor, new construction Water Superintendent Assistant Water Superintendent Superintendent, Sewer Department Assistant Supt. Sewer Department Extra labor, on a sliding scale from 1.50 er hour to 2.35 per hour not to exceed, in the Street department 1250.00 per year not to exceed, in the water department 1400.00 per year not to exceed, in the Sewer department 800.00 per year. Town Engineer, to act in advisory capacity 1.00 per year. Payment to Fire Department for attendance of Firemen at drill and fires, not to exceed 600.00 per year. Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effec from and after its passage, approval and publication as provide by law. PASSED the Town Council and approved by the Mayor this llth day of December, 1961.
