It will provide a capacity for traffic that will be generated by Tukwila Pond, existing shortfalls and additional development. It would appear that dedication of right -of -way with the boundary line adjustment will be a step toward meeting these needs. Southcenter Parkway traffic counts show over 37,000 VPD and LOS F through the lunch and afternoon peak hours. Strander westbound traffic is in queue between Andover and Southcenter while eastbound LOS varies from E to F. Additional traffic lanes for both north -south and east -west vehicle travel will be needed to provide for additional traffic - additional development. Dedicating right -of -way for at least three travel lanes with the boundary line adjustment will provide the space.
