The Planning Department has evaluated the proposed

Findings
1. Monster Road continues to be an open public road and thus
SEPA pursuant to WAC 197- 11- 800(5)(b).
2. The subject vacation would impact the Monster Road segment

Conclusion
Not withstanding objections by the Tukwila Public Works Department, City of
Renton, or any affected utilities; or new data identified in SEPA review,
the proposed vacation appears to be consistent with the Tukwila
Comprehensive Plan. SEPA review must be completed prior to final action by
the Council.
Recommendation
A SEPA checklist should be submitted as soon as possible, and distributed
to the affected parties.
