Re: Petition for Vacation of Nelson Place (VAC 002-86)
Dear Dick:

ARCA CODE 208
The reason for our delay in our attempting to obtain an
appraisal for the Vacation of Monster is that I wanted to
coordinate the Vacations with the City of Renton and the
City of Tukwila. The City of Tukwila requested that I
have the County Assessor's office merge different tax lots
together in to one tax lot before they approved the Vac-
ation. I have now obtained from the County Assessor the
merger of the tax lots and, therefore, I wanted to co-
ordinate the possibility of an appraisal on the property
between the City of Tukwila and the City of Renton.
My question to you, Dick, is whether or not the City of
Renton would accept an appraisal by the City of Tukwila on
the property or accept the County Assessor's evaluation of.
the property without the need of an independent MAI or
other qualified appraiser?
I received a letter from Maxine E. Motor, the City Clerk,
requesting a $250.00 processing fee, and I believe that
has already been paid, unless this is an additional fee
that which I am not aware of.
I am, as of this date, writing to Mr. Vernon Umetsu of
the City of Tukwila, and I will enclose a copy of this
letter for him so that we may coordinate this entire
Vacation.
