The Committee will meet next Wednesday, May 2nd, at 9:00 a.m. in City
Hall Conference Room #3 to discuss the following application:
Application 84 -13 -BLA: Paul Haggard Boundary Line Adjustment
The applicant proposes to revise the boundary line adjustment made on
August 24, 1983 (83 -09 -BLA) to realign the property line dividing the
property. On August 24, 1983, the City modified the boundary line
between two lots on the applicant's property. At this time the applicant
is desiring to realign the dividing property line pursuant to the
current sale of the property.
The principal concern relative to the proposal is the conformance of
the existing log cabin and temporary shed on lot 2 with the applicable
building setbacks of the Zoning Code. TMC 18.50.050 specifies a rear
yard setback of 5', to which these structures conform.
A -file on the previous boundary line adjustment (83-09-BLA) does not
contain a copy of the recorded document. Therefore, the specific status
of that boundary line adjustment is suspect. However, in any case, a
current proposed boundary line adjustment would take precedence and
also would have to be filed with King County.
It is my recommendation that the boundary line adjustment be approved
as proposed.
