NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BY THE
TUKWILA CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Tukwila City Council will conduct a
Public Hearing on the 28th day of July, 1980, at 7:00 P.M. in the
Council Chambers of Tukwila City Hall, 6200 Southcenter Blvd., to
consider annexation of the following described property:
That portion of tract 14, Fostoria Garden Tracts, according to
plat recorded in V. 9, page 95 KCW, described as follows:
Beginning at most northerly corner of said tract 14; thence
southwesterly along northwesterly boundary of said tract 14
a distance of 494.52 feet to southeast corner of said tract,
which point is also the north line of county road (sometimes
known as Foster Street); thence southeasterly along said margin
of county road 95.38 feet, thence northeasterly along the line
parallel with said northwesterly boundary of said tract; thence
northwesterly along said northeasterly boundary 90.24 feet to
the point of beginning; except the northeast 272.12 feet thereof.
Any and all interested persons are invited to be present to voice
approval, disapproval or opinions on same.

Dear Mr. Caughey:
My property at 4526 South 135th Street, Seattle, Washington 98168, is presently
up for sale. It is felt by my realtor that it would be easier to sell this
particular property if the zoning could be changed from R -1 (single family
residential) to M -1 (light industry).. The property adjoining two sides of
mine is already zoned M -1 and said property is within the Tukwila city limits.
I am requesting annexation into the city of Tukwila and, at the same time,
would like you to consider changing the zoning from R -1 to M -1.
As you were having difficulty locating my property, I have enclosed two area
maps showing the location.
