Re: North of Stoneway Concrete, Landfill - McCann Project 452
Gentlemen:
The following items are submitted to support our application for
filling and grading the property immediately north of the Stoneway
Concrete Batch Plant on the east side of the West Valley Highway.
The application for a Shoreline Management Permit is thereby made
at your instructions. Attachments are identified as follows:
1. Site Plan, Exhibit A, by Hill, Ingman, Chase and Co., dated
May 1970. Marked up to show property dimensions, ordinary
high water elevation.
2. Site Plan, Exhibit B, attachment to show existing and proposed
ground elevations and adjacent Stoneway Concrete Plant. No
proposed structures on the site are envisioned at this time.
3. Vicinity map, Exhibit C, by Tukwila Industrial Council dated
October 1978.
4. List of latest name and addresses, Exhibit D of real property
owners as recorded by the King County tax rolls within 300 feet
radius of the referenced property.
5. Environmental Checklist Form, Exhibit E.
6. Application fee in check form for an amount to $100.00.
7. Application for fill and grading permit, no fee submitted.

The following additional responses are offered in compliance with the

a. Fill. The fill material will consist of surplus gravel and
soil fill generated by McCann Construction Company Inc.
building sites in the area. Total volume imported to the
site will be approximately 7500 CY.
b. It is not envisioned that any material will be extracted
and exported from the site.
c. All major utilities are located in easements paralleling the
West Valley Highway.
d. No sanitary facilities other than possibly a portable toilet will
be needed by this proposal.
e. The Shoreline designation according to the master program is urban.
f. The Shoreline areas and Shorelines of statewide significance are
one and the same in the proposal area.
The general nature of the improvements and land use within one
thousand feet in all directions from the proposed site are
commercial and industrial.
We trust the above information is complete and that the necessary permits .

if any that is required by, the fill permit application.
Very truly yours,
E.D. Hunt
