PLANNING PARKS 3 RECREATION BUILDING FROM: Kjell Stoknes KS /ch cc: Terry Monaghan Al Pieper CITY of TUKWILA OFFICE of COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT 19 June 1978 MEMORANDUM TO: Short Plat: Southcenter South Lot 16 File, McCann SUBJECT: Implementation of approved short subdivision and related boundary line adjustment. The above- referenced short subdivision has been approved by the Short Sub- division Committee. The requirements of that Short Subdivision Committee decision need to be incorporated on the face of the plat and recorded with a copy returned to the City prior to issuance of any building permits. In order of progression, the following events need to occur: 1. The Boundary Line Adjustment needs to be formalized and finalized by the McCann Company. 2. After the Boundary Line Adjustment has been approved by the City of Tukwila, the Short Plat can then be submitted to King County for recording with a copy submitted back to us. Careful consider- ation has to be made for how the dedication of the roadway is to occur, the bonding necessary, etc. The building permit to Farwest Garments on the west side of the proposed right -of -way next to the subdivision has been issued on the assumption that the street will be put in at some future date. Indications are that Farwest Garments has a contract with McCann to construct that street. I have only two comments. First, the revised lot shown on the map is four feet wider on Olympic Avenue than the lot sub - mitted to the B.A.R. for site plan review. Nevertheless, since it is an addition of four feet rather than a subtraction, I can see no problem with site plan compliance. Secondly, page two of the submitted BLA does not conform to our BLA form.
