SHORT SUBDIVISION COMMITTEE The Short Subdivision Committee meeting was called to order at 10:00 A.M. by Acting Chairman Fred Satterstrom with Dick Williams and Hubert Crawley present. SHORT PLAT: Altmayer Mrs. Anne Altmayer and Mrs. Lynn West were present in behalf of the appli- cation. Mr. Crawley explained location of proposed Short Plat and relationship to other property lines. Committee generally discussed current and projected developments. Mr. Gary Crutchfield, Planning Division, recommended two conditions regard- ing (a) future LID for street and utility improvements, and (b) dedication of the easterly 15 feet adjacent 58th Avenue right -of -way. Committee discussed timing of the future LID. Fundamental question as to the right of the School District to object to formation of an LID. After considerable discussion, motion by Mr. Crawley, seconded by Mr. Williams and carried to approve the Short Plat with the following stipulations: 1. The owner(s) of Lot(s) B, C, and D, as shown hereon, hereby agree(s) to equitably participate in any future LID created for street improve- ment including all necessary utilities. This agreement shall be binding on all heirs, successors and assigns. 2. All street right -of -way shown on this plat is hereby dedicated to the use of the public forever for all public purposes not inconsistent with the use thereof for public highway purposes and the right to make all necessary slopes for cuts and fills upon the lots shown hereon in the original grading of the streets, avenues, alleys or places shown hereon. 6230 Southcentcr Boulevard 15 Tukwila, Washington 98188 a (206) 242 -2177 Short Subdivision Committee Notes of Meeting The Committee agreed to go on record for future reference as to the intended timing of the LID for extension of 58th Avenue South. At such time as any portion of Tract 39 abutting 58th Avenue South subdivides, an LID for improvement of 58th Avenue South and any necessary utilities shall be formed and executed. BSIP: Prudential Ms. Faith Stein and Mr. Tom Bracken represented the applicant. Mr. Williams indicated utility extensions are acceptable. Mr..Crawley agreed, Mr. Satterstrom noted that easements for utilities and access are not neces- sary so long as the entire parcel remains under single ownership. Motion by Mr. Crawley, seconded by Mr. Williams and carried to approve the BSIP as presented. There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 11:00 A.M.
