Tukwila to South Renton Interchange
Median Barrier
The above referenced project is scheduled for implementation in the near
future. The project involves the replacement of existing median guardrail
with continuous concrete median barrier on SR 405 from the Tukwila Inter-
change to the South Renton Interchange. Additional work will include
median illumination and drainage revisions.
The proximity of the project to the Green River places it under the
jurisdiction of the Shoreline Management Act. However, due to the nature
of the proposed work, it seems exempt from the permit requirement of the
Shoreline Management Act. Please furnish this office with a letter
exempting this project from the permit requirements of the Shoreline
Management Act.
