Staff, recommending the Commission eliminate the policy

requested in light of the Sign Code and that the sign
must conform to the Sign Code before it comes before the
Commission and that. it seems a duplication of effort.

imously.

with the provision that there be total sprinklering

imously.
3. FISHER'S FUND RAISING
Building Sign
Mr. Keever moved that a letter be sent to the Messenger
Sign Co. outlining the inadequacies in the plans as
submitted. There is no way to determine from the plans
if the sign meets the Protective Covenants or City of
Tukwila standards. The Sign Co. is to be directed
to re- submit a revised drawing at the next A.C.C.
meeting.
Mr. McCurdy seconded the motion and it passed unan-
imously.
. SHASTA BEVERAGE CO.
Outdoor Storage Dock
Lengthy discussion ensued as to the rear yard coverage
area as stated in the Protective Covenants. It was
generally agreed that the configuration as proposed
was probably esthetically more pleasing than a long
narrow dock extending northerly from the building.
Mr. Commeree presented the plans and stated that
the dock will be constructed in order to accommodate
future building expansion.
Mr. McCurdy moved to accept the plans as presented
provided that there be a decorative fence at least six
(6) feet in height mounted on top of the exposed
edges of the dock and that the dock be included in
the future building expansion area, also that all
outdoor materials be stored within the confines of the
fenced area and that the outdoor storage materials be
maintained to a height less than that of the fence.

All the foregoing is subject to the approval of the
City of Tukwila regulations.
Mr. Keever seconded the motion and it was passed
unanimously.
Of further note, is the sugar storage tank located at the
rear of the existing building. The tank has been in
violation of the Protective Covenants as well as the
easement restrictions imposed by the Milwaukee Railroad.
Numerous letters have been exchanged on this subject
in past years apparently to no avail.
Mr. Commeree was directed by the A.C.C. to present a
letter stating that the tank will be moved to a location
that is not in violation with the Protective Covenants
or railroad restrictions.
5. MEMBER'SCOMMENT
Proposed Amendment No. 6
Various suggestions were offered by the members there
present. Mr. Keever stated that in the event Puget
Western, Inc. will not provide the necessary administra-
tive services, the Chairman of the A.C.C. would desig-
nate another firm to take over these duties.
Also offered by Mr. McCurdy was that in the paragraph
concerning Puget Western, Inc., parenthesis be added
to say (so long as Puget Western, Inc. remains in
operation it is a wholly owned subsidiary of Puget
Sound Power & Light Co.)
Mr. Baker suggested that a set of by -laws be formulated
to govern the A.C.C. in the future.
A letter from Mayor Todd of the City of Tukwila was
presented and read by Mr. Baker (letter attached).
The contents of the letter regarding extending the
height limitation of the Protective Covenants was
viewed by the A.C.C. as being detrimental to the
existing owner's in Andover Park. It also appears
the massive loads such a large structure demands would
be nearly impossible due to existing soil conditions.
As a result of these comments the A.C.C. will not amend
the height restriction as set forth in the Protective
Covenants, but will encourage lowering the three - hundred
(300) foot limit in the area south of.I -405 to the
present thirty -five (35) foot restriction.
