According to the construction drawings prepared by The Jock A. Benaroya Company of Seattle, Washington dated January 15, 1982, the floor system is constructed of o 3" concrete slab reinforced with 6 x 6-W 2.9 x W 2.9 WWF over Hambro joists. A conservative estimate of the maximum dead load supported by o single column is 440 lbs. From the information provided in the existing construction documents we calculate that the floor system would support a maximum dead lood imposed by a single column of approximately 560 lbs. it is our opinion that the existing floor system will safely support the loads of the food Kiosk colurnns.
