THIS LIMITED USE PERMIT made this day of ,19 , by and between PUGET
SOUND POWER & LIGHT COMPANY, a Washington corporation ( "Puget" herein) and FT Rag' WFSTFRN
DEVELOPMENT OF WASHINGTON, INC.. a Washington corpor a t i on("Permittee" herein).
Puget hereby grants permission to Permittee to use the following described real property (the "Property" herein)
situated in King County, Washington:
That portion of the Southeast quarter of the Northwest quarter
of Section 25, Township 23 North, Range 4 East, W.M., as shown
outlined in red on the reverse side hereof.
1. Term. Unless otherwise terminated pursuant to the terms hereof, the term of this Permit is
years beginning March 7 , 1 9 A
2. Rent. Permittee shall pay to Puget the sum of $ See Below* per year
payable nnuallyinadvance. *$1,275 with $25.00 per year increase for
each year thereafter.
3. Permittee's Use of Property is Limited to :

Additional use of the property requires Puget's prior written approval.
4. Limitations on Use. The Property is operating utility property of Puget and Puget may use same for the
purposes of its utility business as fully as if this permit had not been given. Permittee shall not erect any
building or structure of any kind on the Property, or use the Property for any purpose other than specified in
paragraph 3 above. No blasting shall be done without Puget's prior written consent, and brush and stumps
shall be burned only at the times and in the manner permitted by law and with due care not to injure any
property. Permittee shall comply with all laws and ordinances applicable to the Property and Permittee's use
thereof, and shall keep the Property free from any and all liens which might arise as a result of Permittee's use
and occupancy of the Property.
5. Indemnity. The Property is subject to the hazards incident to the operation of an electrical system, and in
consideration of the nominal charge paid by Permittee for the use of the Property, Permittee hereby agrees that
Puget shall not be liable for any damage or injury suffered by Permittee on the Property or for any damage or
injury to crops or other property upon the Property. Permittee further agrees to save and hold Puget harmless
from all claims for damages suffered by any person on the Property which may arise as a result of Permittee's
use of the Property.
6. Assignment, Termination. This permit is not assignable and it may be terminated by Puget at any time upon
sixty (60) days' written notice given to Permittee in person or by mail. Upon such termination the unearned part
of any prepaid rental shall be refunded.
7. Restoration. Upon termination of this permit, Permittee shall remove any facility which Permittee has placed
upon the Property and shall otherwise restore the Property to as good a condition as it was prior to the
installation of said facility on the Property.
8. Additional conditions see attached EXHIBIT "A."
SUBJECT TO Olympic Gas Pipeline and King County's proposed Interurban Trail.
This permit supercedes and cancels that certain Permit for Limited Use of Operating
Property dated March 7, 1986 between the parties herein.

gates for 11 -stall security parking per CDA revised parking
layout drawing dated June 20, 1988 by Tim Hanson and
Associates.
Additional Conditions
1. Puget shall have free and unrestricted access to the property
by virtue of Permittee installing 20 foot gates on the North
and South fence lines.
2. Puget's wood poles are to be protected from vehicular traffic
by Permittee installing protective barriers and /or bollards.
3. Permittee shall contact Don Yuen (255- 2464), at Puget's South
Central Division office located at 620 So. Grady Way, Renton,
Washington, and make arrangements to have Puget locks
installed on each gate.

This is a follow -up letter regarding the outstanding submittal requirements
in order to complete the process for this permit application. As part of
our review, the Planning Division requires that a letter be obtained from
Puget Power granting permission for placement of the fence on their property.
According to Lauren Wibbleman, Northwest Commercial Improvements, this matter
has been referred to you.
In order to complete the process we need this document as soon as possible.
Please let us know of your intentions within the next week so we may
continue to keep this application active, or cancel it if per your request.

Dear Becky:
I received your 12/28/88 letter requesting information on the .
fence scheduled to be constructed in the Puget Power
right -of -way behind the building Xerox is occupying. As of
this date, we are waiting for Puget Power's written approval
to locate this fence in the right -of -way. Because of the
holidays, they had missed one of their regular meetings where
this would have been reviewed. We would like to finalize the
improvements and get our final occupancy permit without this
fence being installed.
If there is a way to separate the fence permit from the other
tenant improvements, I would appreciate it, as we still plan
on installing it once we gain Puget Power's approval. If
there is anything I need to do to process this request, please
call me at 775 -6000.
