Class A— Mechanically Fastened The design NP Systems described below consists of the insulation mechanically attached to the deck with NP Anchor Base Plates and fasteners spaced 3 ft. 0.C. max. The specified membrane is placed over the Insulation and secured by pressing retainer pieces over the base plate nobs, Caps with lap sealant are pressed over the retainers and tightened. Field membrane splices, 3 to 4 in. wide, are adhered with either "N•100" at 125 to 130 lin ft/gal or "EP.95 at 130 to 150 lin. ft/gal. Splice edges are covered with "Lap Sealant" at 11 oz/22 lin ft. In the Mechanically Fastened Systems described below, the Insulation is attached with mechanical fasteners and plates, hot roofing asphalt or cold adhesive. The specified membrane is secured over the insulation by mechanical fasteners and plates placed in the field splices. Field membrane splic- es, 6 in. min. wide, are adhered with "EP -95" at 85 to 95 lin ft/gal. Before the splice is assembled, a 3/18 in. bead of "in -Seam Sealant" is applied to the seam area. Splice edges are covered with "Lap Sealant" at 11 oz/22 lin ft. In the Brlte•Ply Mechanically Fastened Systems described below, the Installation is the same as listed above except "8ritr•Ply Splicing Cement" is used in place of "EP -95" and "Brite -Ply Lap Seal- ant" is used in place of "Lap Sealant ".
