1. Remove all weeds, concrete, stone foundations, flat concrete,
concrete /lpatios, masonry walls, garage floors, driveways and
similar structures and all loose miscellaneous material from such
lot or parcel of ground, properly cap sanitary sewer and water
connections, propertly fill or otherside protect all basements,
cellars, septic tanks, wells and other excavations.
2. Obtain required inspections from appropriate water and sewer
districts. Proof of approval shall be provided by the Tukwila
Building Division prior to scheduling the final inspection and
releasing of bond.
3. Removal of septic tanks require approval and compliance with
permit and inspection requirements through King County Health
Department (344 - 6000).
4. Contact the Tukwila City shops to obtain inspections of the water .
and sewer tie-offs prior to cover (433 - 1860).

READ: Demolition of Single Family Residence at 14116 56th
Ave. S. Capping of Sanitary Side Sewer at Property Line
Dear Patricia:
Per our conversation 10/11/89 you indicated that the Permit
Coordinator, Becky Davis, intended to have this project
expedited through Public Works today. Also, per our
conversation the water meter serving the property has already
been removed by water department personnel of the City,
leaving only the sanitary side sewer abandonment at this
time.
Per our phone conversation it is your intent to utilitze
enclosed plan sheet No. 5 of 26 of the City infrastructure
map files ( Sewer LID #5, Schedule A) as a reference. Your
contractor plug said sanitary side sewer inside of existing
MH # 49 with a removal plug for reuse when a new structure
reactivates the side sewer. Also your contractor will cap
said side sewer at the point of cut off from the existing
structure shall be provided. This work shall be carried out
and inspected through the City's permitting process.
Call Becky Davis, Permit Coordinator, at 433 -1851 to have the
following permit prepared for the City's inspections of this
work:
1. Abandonment of sanitary side sewer Permit( Permit fee
equals $20.00)

APPLICATION SUBMITTAL In order to ensure that your application is accepted for plan review, please make sure to fill
out the application completely and follow the plan submittal checklist on the reverse side of this form. Handouts
are available at the Building counter which provide more detailed information on application and plan submittal
requirements. Application and plans must be complete in order to be accepted for plan review.
VALUATION OF CONSTRUCTION Valuation for new construction and additions are calculated by the Department of
Community Development prior to application submittal. Contact the Permit Coordinator at 433 -1851 prior to
submitting application. In all cases, a valuation amount should be entered by the applicant. This figure will be
reviewed and is subject to possible revision by the Building Division to comply with current fee schedules.
DUILDING OWNER / AUTHORIZED AGENT If the applicant is other than the owner, registered architecVengineer, or
contractor licensed by the State of Washington, a notarized letter from the property owner authorizing the agent
to submit this permit application and obtain the permit will be required as part of this submittal.
EXPIRATION OF PLAN REVIEW Applications for which no permit is issued within 180 days following the date of
application shall expire by limitations, The building official may extend the time for action by the applicant for a
period not exceeding 180 days upon written request by the applicant as defined in Section 304(d) of the Uniform
Building Code (current edition). No application shall be extended more than once.
