TOWN OF TUKWILA

REPEALED BY ORD 1039
AN ORDINANCE adopting elements of the Comprehensive plan
of the Town of Tukwila in accordance with Chapter 44 of the Laws
of 1935, including a traffic circulation and arterial plan also
adopted pursuant to Chapter 195 of the Laws of 1961.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Town of Tukwila:
WHEREAS, the previously adopted Comprehensive Plan of the
Town has been reviewed by the Planning Commission and certain changes
have been recommended arising from a final determination of the State
Highway Department Rights of Way, the demonstrated need for certain
public and municipal facilities, the continuing development and oc-
cupancy of the Town's industrial park area, the increased density of
the Town's residential area, recent establishment of sewer and water
facilities, and the need for a long -range arterial and circulation
plan, NOW, THEREFORE,
1) The Town does hereby adopt as its Comprehensive Plan
the land use and traffic circulation maps attached to
this ordinance and by this reference made a part hereof
as though fully set forth herein, which maps shall for
all purposes be considered together as comprising one
plan. Any prior Comprehensive Plan is hereby revoked.
2) Henceforth these maps shall be known as "The Comprehensive
Plan of Tukwila
3) The Town Clerk is hereby directed to file a certified
copy of this ordinance consisting of this text and
the above- referred to two maps with the Auditor of the
County of King, and shall file one in the records of
the Town Clerk, shall place one in the custody of the
Town Engineer and shall place another in the custody
of the Chairman of the Planning Commission of Tukwila.
4) In the event that it shall be determined by any Court
of competent jurisdiction that any portion, part or
element of this ordinance shall be invalid, then not-
withstanding such fact it is the intent of this Council
that each and every other and remaining part shall have
full force and effect.

5) This ordinance shall be effective upon passage and
publication as provided by law.
