VALUATION OF CONSTRUCTION Valuation for new construction and additions are calculated by the Department of Community DAvelopment prior to application submittal. Contact the Permit Coord!na!or at 4133 -1851 prior to submitting application. In all cases, a valuation amount should be entered by the applicant. This figure will be reviewed and is subject to possible revision by the Building Division to comply with current fee schedules. BUILDING OWNER / AUTHORIZED AGENT If the applicant is other than the owner, registered architect/engineer, or contractor licensed by the State of Washington, a notarized letter from the property owner authorizing the agent to submit this permit application and obtain the permit will be required as part of this submittal. EXPIRATION OF PLAN REVIEW Applications for which no permit is issued within 180 days following the date of application shall expire by limitations. The building official may extend the time for action by the applicant for a period not exceeding 180 days upon written request by the applicant as defined in Section 304(d) of the Uniform Building Code (current edition). No application shall be extended more than once. PERMAGLAS UL BASE shall be applied so the flow of water is over or parallel to, but never against the laps. Lap 2” on sides and 6" on the ends, and turn to the top of the cant. Nail on 9" centers through the laps and on Ir centers along a line 12" from each edge. VALLEYS AND WATERWAYS shall receive an extra layer of TOUGH PLY IV which shall be at leash' wide and shall extend at least 8" up the inclines out of thevalleys,M in a uniform mopping of asphalt at the rate of 25 lbs. /square. Roof Drainage Sec. 3207. (a) General. Roof systems shall be sloped a minimum of 1/4 inch in 12 inches for drainage. See Section 2305 (1), (b) Roof Drains. Unless roofs are sloped to drain over roof edges, roof drains shall be installed at each low point of the roof. Roof drains shall be sized and discharged in accordance with the Plumbing Code. (c) Overflow Drains and Scuppers. Where roof drains are required, overflow drains having the same size as the roof drains shall be installed with the inlet flow line located 2 inches above the low point of the roof, or overflow scuppers having three times the size of the roof drains may be installed in adjacent parapet walls with the inlet flow line located 2 inches above the low point of the adjacent roof and having a minimum opening height of 4 inches. Overflow drains shall be connected to drain lines independent from the roof drains. (d) Concealed Piping. Roof drains and overflow drains, when concealed within the construction of the building, shall be installed in accordance with the Plumbing Code. (c) Over Public Property.
