VALUATION OF CONSTRUCTION Valuation for new construction and additions are calculated by the Department of Community Development prior to application submittal. Contact the Permit Coordinator at 433 -1851 prior to submitting application. In all cases, a valuation amount should be entered by the applicant. This figure will be reviewed and is subject to possible revision by the Building Division to comply with current fee schedules. BUILDING OWNER / AUTHORIZED AGENT If the applicant is other than the owner, registered architect/engineer, or contractor licensed by the State of Washington, a notarized letter from the property owner authorizing the agent to submit this permit application and obtain the permit will be required as part of this submittal. EXPIRATION OF PLAN REVIEW Applications for which no permit is issued within 180 days following the date of application shall expire by limitations. The building official may extend the time for action by the applicant for a period not exceeding 180 days upon written request by the applicant as defined in Section 304(d) of the Uniform Building Code (current edition). Dear Mr. Mora, Gary 1.. littilhisrn, ,1/uynr I was taken on a Heatherwood site visit by John Hunt representing Sunwood Condominium on Friday afternoon and am very concerned about what he had pointed out. The following items summarize my concerns as discussed with your on -site foreman Steve Barden today: 1. The back of garages adjacent to Sunwood do not seem to provide for the approved landscaping width between curb /garage and property line. In some cases the width provided necked down to three feet. 2. Cuts into the hillock along the Sunwood property line need to be protected along the approximately 150 ft. length. 3. Rocks have been emplaced along the entire south property line at approximately 1 :1. This does not seem to provide for the approved landscape plan. 4. Trees may require special structures to be planted as approved. This will be especially true along the eastern perimeter. 5. I did not view the northern or western property line improvements. Developer Actions The City requires plans to show how eastern property line cuts .will be protected and landscaping provided, any retaining structures which will be needed (i.e. on southern property line), and a recognition that project landscaping will be provided as shown on approved plans (i.e. along the southern property line). City Actions The City will take the following actions pursuant to normal procedures and the specific Board of Architectural Review direction to staff regarding the strict implementation of all BAR conditions and approved project designs. A. Approval of the proposed carports will be withheld until plans for eastern perimeter landscaping and cut protection have been approved and demonstrated as feasible (i.e. by staking cross- sections and a field check). No final building permit approval will be issued without full compliance with the approved plans. This includes, but is not limited to landscaping.
