TUKWILA, WASHINGTON 98067 Fire Prevention Bureau Re: Squire Shop Remodel Proposal Before a.permit is granted, 1.suggest that the following items . be resolved: 1. ,Allied Stores' approval has not been obtained. 2. This store is traditionally overcrowded with stock. The deletion of storage areas can only serve to compound this problem. Aisle widths must be main- tained at not less than 3 feet, 6 inches. 3. The service hallway is a designated emergency exit and shall be posted as such. Storage in this area is a violation of the Uniform Fire Code, Section 10.103 (a) & (e). Full sprinkler protection to all areas shall be maintained. Drawings for sprinkler modification shall be, approved by the Washingaton Survey and Rating Bureau, then by the Tukwila Fire Department. No storage is allowed within 36 inches of sprinkler heads. Trim, accent lighting boxes and other add -on items may in no interfere with sprinkler head spray- patterns.
