TUKWILA, WASHINGTON 98067 Fire Prevention Bureau October 12, 1973 Re: Cameras Et Cetera, Southcenter Remodel In reviewing the above mentioned project plans, please note the follow- - ing.items: 1. All gypsum:wall board to be U.L. labeled, "Type X ". 2. All rough —sawn lumber to be fire — retardant treated. (Non- combustible). 3. Sprinkler system modification drawings shall be approved by the Washington Survey and Rating Bureau, then by the Tukwila Fire Department. h.. Ceiling tile to be U.L. labeled, Class I flame spread. 5. If the roll up grill drive - -motor is located above the reflected ceiling, the motor shall be encased in a one- hour enclosure, with any open sides of the enclosure being common to the store' interior. Fire extinguisher type, quantity and placement shall be per.NFPA #10. Extinguishers ,shall be located so as to be in plain view (if at all possible). If not in plain viewv. they shall be identified with a sign stating "FIRE EXTINGUISHER" with an arrow pointing. 7. The rear door is a required emergency exit and shall be identified as such. Also, Per UFC Sec. 10.104 (b), "All doors in or leading to exits shall be maintained openable frorn the inside without the use of a key or any special know —. ledge or effort at all times when the building or area served thereby is occupied ".
