The variance, with its stipulations, will remain valid only if exercised prior to 9 June 1978. It was the decision of the Board of Adjustment that a hardship would be placed on the applicant which would outweigh the general welfare consider- ations implicit in underground installation of utilities and that a var- 1% lance is'hereby granted, for a period of one (1) year, subject to the following. stipulations: ,1) The applicant agrees to participate in any future L.I.D. to underground installation of all utilities. 2) This variance shall become null and void.at such time as the main distribution system is placed underground. 3) This variance may be renewed on an annual basis by the Planning Director of the City of Tukwila.
