Puget Power right -of -way at this site.
Please provide me with a copy of the deed or any
other suitable evidence indicating ownership so that
I may inform the City Council of the necessary change
to the Comprehensive Plan Map.

period provided, however, all other federal, state, and local
laws regulating such construction have been complied with.

PERMIT FOR
SHORELINE MANAGEMENT SUBSTANTIAL DEVELOPMENT
Development shall be undertaken pursuant to the following
terms and conditions:
1. The issuance of a license under the Shoreline Manage-
ment Act of 1971 shall not release the applicant from
compliance with federal, state, and other permit require-
ments.
2. This permit may be rescinded pursuant to Section 14(7)
of the Shoreline Management Act of 1971 in the event the
permittee fails to comply with any condition hereof.
3. A construction permit shall not be issued until forty -
.five (45) days after approval by the City of Tukwila •
Planning Department or until any review proceedings
initiated within this 45 day review period have been
completed.
4. Pursuant to Section 14, Chapter 286, Laws of 1971 Extra
Session, the City of Tukwila has taken the following

RE: Shoreline Permit Application - Tavern
Dear Frank:
This office has reviewed the site plan submitted with your application for Shore-
line Management Permit for the tavern proposed to be located on Interurban Avenue.
Information pertinent to the application and required by the application instruc-
tions was not included on the site plan and they are indicated below.
1. The Shoreline Master Program requires the River Zone (as defined in the
Program) to be a minimum of forty (40) feet.
2. The River Zone must be landscaped in accordance with the Shoreline
Program or left in a natural state.
3. The location and nature of immediately adjacent uses should be indicated.
4. The site plan must include:
a. the ordinary high water mark in addition to top of bank;
b. existing and proposed storm utilities;
c. manner of storm drainage
In addition to the above information requirements, this office suggests the
building be turned 90 degrees to utilize the site to its fullest advantage.
That action would allow a greater number of parking spaces, more flexibility in
design of identification and better police protection as well as maintaining
the integrity of the River Zone and furthering the intent of the Shoreline
Management Act of 1971. This is merely a suggestion although the information
requirements must be fulfilled and a revised site plan submitted which depicts
that information. The last date of publication of your notice was 24 March 1976
and the revised site plan must be provided to this office by 9 April 1976 to
ensure public knowledge of the required information as well as to allow review by
this office prior to forwarding the application to the appropriate State agencies.

I have attached a blank application for Shoreline Permit and Notice of
Application which must be published twice one week apart in the Renton
Record - Chronicle for your proposed tavern to be located just south of the
Village Green apartments on Interurban Avenue.
In addition to the completed application, please submit a scaled site plan
of the proposed construction depicting compliance with the use restrictions
contained in the Tukwila Shoreline Master Program. A vicinity map showing
adjacent properties and landmarks must also be included as a part of the
application.
Finally, I have also enclosed an Environmental Checklist which must be
completed and submitted along with the application. Should you have any
