TUKWILA, WASHINGTON 98067 Mr. Frank Todd 14446 - 59th Avenue South Tukwila, Washington 98067 PLANNING DEPARTMENT RE: Shoreline Permit on property between Duwamish River and Interurban Avenue Our review on your Shoreline Permit on the above referenced property indicates that it did expire on September 29, 1974. Unless the Department of Ecology will authorize the local government to grant an extension due to extenuating circumstances by other property owners, we feel we have no authority to allow an extension of this permit. If you wish to pursue this further with the Department of Ecology to see if they will authorize an extension, please feel free to do so. Our reasons for not allowing an extension locally are based on the following: 1. The permit did expire on September 29, 1974. Procedurally, it would have been proper to ask for an extension piror to the expiration date. 2. A new use is proposed for the property with a different site plan. The proposal for a tavern that you have shown for the property generally conforms to the Shoreline Master Program of the City and therefore there should be no problem in having a new permit approved. Very truly yours, .. K ell Stoknes P anning Director cc: Mayor Bauch Steve Hall mo Cie'ry Crutchfield STATE OF WASHINGTON November 14, 1972 DAN /EL J. EVANS GOVERNOR Mr. Delbert F.
