RE: Refund for Design Review File #L02 -031
A design review fee of $900.00 was collected from Theresa Reichlin for a proposed espresso
stand at the Tesoro gasoline station located at 14620 Tukwila International Boulevard.
It was determined that this project did not require design review before the Board of
Architectural Review, and the land use file was closed. As a result, we need to refund the
applicant's fee of $900.00. I have attached a copy of the receipt for the monies collected. The
check should be made payable to:

1. RELATIONSHIP OF STRUCTURE TO SITE
a) The transition talked about is existing and will be enhanced by adding shrubs and trees.
b) The parking and service areas shall remain unchanged the espresso bar is to be walk-up only.
c) The proposed building shall be in direct proportion with the existing structures on site proposed
building height is 11' -9W.
2. RELATIONSHIP OF STRUCTURE AND SITE TO ADJOINING AREA
a) The proposed building shall be stick framed with a light industrial look.
b) The proposed landscape plan is in section 4
c) The building has a facade that makes the building look western in nature.
d) The proposed espresso building has an additional service window to elevate pedestrian and
motor vehicular conflicts.

a) The site landscape is to remain unchanged.
b) The existing sidewalks asphalt parking lot rockers and retaining walls to remain unchanged.
c) Proposed shrubs and trees to be added around the proposed espresso building.
