It is for' Worldwide Video" at 14065 Interurban Ave (it may come in as 14055 Interurban Ave). The business is an adult business and it is not permitted in the RCM zone. The business had previously been operating there, but it appears that they stopped operating at the end of 2001. I spoke with the landlord who noted that Worldwide Video has not been operating on the site for over ten months. Thus, it appears that any non - conforming rights for the property have been lost. I sent the property owner a letter regarding the issue and that if he or Worldwide Video think they still have non - conforming rights they need to submit for Code Interpretation. Brandon J. As I noted on the phone, Adult Businesses, such as the former "Worldwide Video" are not permitted in the zoning for the subject property. Additionally, you noted that "Worldwide Video" has not been operating on the site for over ten months. The City has strict regulations on when non - conforming rights for a property cease should that business halt operation. If you or "Worldwide Video" would like to pursue re- opening the Adult Business under the premise that the non - conforming rights for the business have not expired. I would suggest that "Worldwide Video" submit a letter to the City asking for a Code Interpretation, pursuant to TMC 18.96.020. The Director of Community Development will issue a decision regarding the land use issue and that land use issue may be appealed to the Hearing Examiner pursuant to TMC 18.90.010.
