Jill Mosqueda in Public Works had the following comments: 1. Please provide a storm drainage plan per the King County Surface Water Design Manual 1998. Pages 5 -3 through 5 -11 and pages 5 -53 through 5 -69 are enclosed to clarify submittal requirements. Infiltration is the first choice for single family residence storm drainage. The KCSWDM provides criteria for three roof downspout control methods. 2. Cutting pavement on 42nd Avenue South will not be allowed so utility installation will require boring. 3. Jill Mos The City Of Tukwila Public Works Department has the following comments regarding this short plat. Your site meets the 1998 King County Surface Water Design Manual (KCSWDM) criteria for Full Drainage Review. Please provide a Full Drainage Review Technical Information Report per KCSWDM. Refer to page 2 -8. The TIR must include a plan for temporary and permanent erosion prevention and sediment control, Per KCSWDM infiltration is the preferred method to handle roof storm water runoff. The City requires results of percolation tests for each site. Perform each percolation test at the approximate location of infiltration. Please refer to Appendix C. Percolation test report forms are enclosed. If the ground will not perc., the second choice for roof drain runoff might then be tightlines from each house to the City Of Tukwila storm drain system. I think the house on Lot 4 will not be built as part of the short plat. 'Water and Sewer Sanitary sewer and water supply lines must be separated by 10' horizontally. Sanitary sewer and water supply lines must be separated by 18" vertically, with the water line above the sewer line. There are three water meters at the property line. Please note sizes of water meters. Will there be three separate lines in a common trench, running from each meter to each house? If so, please provide a trench cross section detail. Will the site receive water from the water meter at two locations as shown on the plans? The City will allow one connection from the main to the three water meters. s'.
