MEMORANDUM
It has come to my attention that King County Department of Assessments did not
officially recognize this consolidation. I called the County today and they still showed
the three separate tax parcels as active. They also indicated that no consolidations
occurred in 1998. Even though the document was recorded, the Recording division
doesn't necessarily pass the information to Assessments. The Assessment office would
only accept the recorded document from the applicant at this time to accept the change.
I later called Greg Diener at 51 Avenue L.L.C. to give him a heads up. Currently the
office project has been put on hold. If they ever did want to build on it, they would
probably need to make the consolidation official with the Assessment office.
Finance has been sending one SM bill rather than three. Finance will continue to
recognize the consolidation at this time.

Dear Mr. Diener:
Your application for a Lot Consolidation at 15150 - 51st Ave. S. has been found to be complete on
July 27, 1998 for the purposes of meeting state mandated time requirements.
As previously indicated, there is a discrepancy between the new legal description and the survey
provided with your application. The new legal description calls for 188.62 feet along the west
property line but the survey map shows the distance at 186.62 feet. Prior to approval for
recording at King County, this discrepancy must be changed.
This determination of complete application does not preclude the ability of the City to require that
you submit additional plans or information, if in our estimation such information is necessary to
ensure the project meets the substantive requirements of the City or to complete the review
process. I will be contacting you soon to discuss this project. If you wish to speak to me sooner,
