(BLA) To: Planning Dept From: Richard Takechi Date: December 18, 2000 Subject: Lot Consolidation L98 -0041 Parcels 984440- 0036/37/46 MEMORANDUM It has come to my attention that King County Department of Assessments did not officially recognize this consolidation. I called the County today and they still showed the three separate tax parcels as active. They also indicated that no consolidations occurred in 1998. Even though the document was recorded, the Recording division doesn't necessarily pass the information to Assessments. The Assessment office would only accept the recorded document from the applicant at this time to accept the change. I later called Greg Diener at 51 Avenue L.L.C. to give him a heads up. Currently the office project has been put on hold. If they ever did want to build on it, they would probably need to make the consolidation official with the Assessment office.
