Dear Mrs. Hamasaki:
The City of Tukwila has approved your Boundary Line Adjustment (BLA) .
The next step is to record the BLA with King County.
You will need to file the attached original forms with the King
County Department of Records (Room 311, King County Administration
Building, 500 4th Avenue, Seattle, WA, 98104, 296 - 1570). Once
recorded, the BLA document must be returned to the City of Tukwila
Dept. of Community Development (DCD).
Your BLA is not considered complete until DCD receives the recorded
document. The County will mail to us the recorded BLA original in
approximately 4 -6 weeks. To save time, you can submit a copy of your
BLA to the County when you submit the original, and return the
recorded copy to us. I have attached a copy, which you can have
stamped by the County.
Please note that you must file your BLA (with King County and with
Tukwila DCD) by March 14, 1994. If not filed by this deadline, the
BLA will be considered null and void. To renew the application would
require a submittal of a new BLA application and fees.

RE: Boundary Line Adjustment #L93 -0023, 10235 Beacon Avenue South
Dear Mr. & Mrs. Hamasaki:
As stated in my letter of June 4, 1993, the Department of Community
Development gave preliminary approval to your Boundary Line
Adjustment (BLA) application. You satisfied the conditions
specified in that letter.
However, our Public Works Department has since raised a concern
that the legal descriptions prepared for your BLA appear to be
inaccurate. The survey map uses some of the same references as the
legal descriptions, and also appears to be inaccurate. As King
County will not record an inaccurately described BLA, your legal
descriptions and survey need to be revised.
Attached is a copy of the corrections which our Public Works
Department believes are necessary. Please complete the following
items:
1. Have your surveyor review and make the corrections
to the legal descriptions.
2. Have your surveyor make the necessary corrections
to the survey map.
3. Have the surveyor stamp and sign both before and
after legal descriptions, and stamp and sign the
revised survey.
Please re- submit the legals Please let me know if can be of
further assistance in resolving any of these issues (.431- 3670).

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Hamasaki:
As stated in my letter of June 4, 1993, the Department of Community
Development gave preliminary approval to your Boundary Line
Adjustment (BLA) application. You satisfied the conditions
specified in that letter.
However, our Public Works Department has since raised a concern
regarding the legal descriptions prepared for your application.
The legal descriptions appear to be inaccurate. The survey map
uses some of the same references as the legal descriptions, and
also appears to be inaccurate. As King County will not record an
inaccurately described BLA, your legal descriptions and survey need
to be revised.
Attached is a copy of the corrections which our Public Works
Department believes are necessary. Please complete the following
items:
1. Have your surveyor review and make the
corrections to the legal descriptions.
2. Have your surveyor make the necessary
corrections to the survey map.
3. Have the surveyor stamp and sign both before
and after legal descriptions, and stamp and
sign the revised survey.
Please re- submit the legals Please let me know if I can be of

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Hamasaki:
The Department of Community Development has given preliminary
approval to your Boundary Line Adjustment (BLA) application, with
the following conditions:
1. It is not clear from your application whether any
easements are located in the area of exchanged land. To
clarify this, please show easements on the survey and in
the legal descriptions, or submit a brief note that no
easements are affected.
2. As approval of boundary line adjustments does not include
the location of septic drainfields, the notation "future
drainfield area" should be deleted from the survey.
Please note that septic system installation for future
development will require: a) approval by King County
Health Department (296-4666); and b) that you or a future
owner sign a City of Tukwila No- Protest Sewer Agreement
(John Pierog, 433 - 0179).
The items listed above must be completed within six months from the
date of this letter. If not completed, the current application
will expire and a new application would be required. When these
items have been completed, your application will be forwarded to
the Director of Community Development for final approval.
Please let me know if I can be of further assistance in resolving
any of these issues (431- 3670).
