RE: Lot Consolidation #L93 -0080
Dear Mr cVeigh:
The Department of Community Development has completed a preliminary
review of your proposed lot consolidation noted above. We have
approved your application. To complete the process, you will need
to take additional steps. These are as noted below.
1. You will need to contact King County Dept. of
Assessments to request a "lot merger"
(296- 7300).
2. Provide to Tukwila a copy of the revised deed
recorded by King County Dept. of Records (with
recording date stamped). The deed should
contain the new legal description for the
combined parcel and show that the entire
parcel is owned by the same individual(s).
This will verify that the two lots are now
legally one parcel.
These final steps are especially important if, at a future date,
you wish to obtain building permits for any expansion of the
existing house. Also, they are necessary for keeping accurate
records on your property (taxes, utility bills, etc.).
If you have any questions regarding this, please feel free to
