• IN THE MATTER OF SR 405, GREEN RIVER INTERCHANGE
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That the Grantor. PUGET SOUND POWER G LIGHT
COMPANY, a Washington corporation, for and in conside•ation of Mutual Benefits hereby
conveys and quit claims to the STATE OF WASHINGTON, the following described real
estate situated in King County, State of Washington, to the same extent and purpose
as if the rights herein granted had been acquired under Eminent Domair statute of the
State of Washington:
'V All that portion of the following described Parcel "A" lying southwesterly of
the following described line:
Beginning at Highway Engineer's Station (hereinafter referred to as H.E.S.)
�D T.S. (2M) 115 +55.79 on the 2M Line of SR 405, Green River Interchange; thence
northeasterly at right angles to said line 40 feet; thence southeasterly parallel
with said line to a point opposite H.E.S. 116 +40; thence northeasterly at right angles
to said line 10 feet; thence southeasterly parallel with said line to a point opposite
H.E.S. 120+50; thence northeasterly at right angles :o said fine 5 feet; thence south-
easterly parallel with said line to a point opposite H.E.S. 123 +00; thence northeasterly
at right angles to said line 5 feet; thence southeasterly parallel with said line to a
point opposite H.E.S. S.T. (2M) 124 +31.07' thence northeasterly at right angles to said
line to a point on the northeasterly line of said Parcel "4 "; thence southeasterly along
said northeasterly line to • point on the southeasterly boundary of said Parcel "A" and
the end of this line description.

being 50 feet
A strip of land 100 feet in width /on each side of the'center line of the definite
location of the former Seattle- Tacoma Interurban Railway across a cortion of the
William H. Gilliam Donation Claim in Sections23 and 24, Township 23 North, Range 4 East,
W.M., the center line of said strip of land being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the north boundary line of said William H. Gilliam Donation

curving to the left with a spir.i raving 9 chords 21 feet long, a distance of ;89 feet

through 23 ° 8' of curvature a distance of 289.2 feet; thence continuing curving to the
left with a spiral having 9 chords 21 feet long, a distance of 189 feet, through 7 ° 30'
of curvature to a point; thence S 60 °45' E. a distance of 509.5 feet to a point on the
left bank of the White River which bears 5. 29'58' E. from the northeast corner of said
William H. Gilliam Donation Claim, a distance of 2443.2 feet;
Situate in the Town of Tukwila, County of King, State of Washington.
The lands herein contain an area of 71,400 square feet, more or less, the specific
details concerning all of which are to be found within that certain map of definite
location now of record and on file in the office of the Oirector of Highways at Olympia,
and bearing data of approval January 30, 1962, revised Aoril 17, 1969, and the center
Tine of which Is also shown of record In Volume 2 of Highway Plats, page 193, records
of said County.
This conveyance is made subject to the following tons and conditions:
That the Grantor, Its successors or assigns, s the right to construct,
maintain, operate, repair and /or replace, at no expense to the State of Washington,
at some future time or times within the bounds of this conveyance, an electric power,
transmission, distribution and /or communication line or lines, or rapid transit trans-
portation line crossings, together with related structural facilities, over and along
the controlled access highway facility to be constructed upon the right of way herein
conveyed; provided, however, that such rights shall not be exercised in a manner as to
Interfere wltn the intended use of the limited access facility and shall be in accord-
ance with the applicable standards for the National System of Interstate and Defense
Highways as approved by the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Public Roads, American
Association of State Highway Officials, and the Washington State Highway Commission.

• It is understood and agreed that the delivery of thls deed is hereby tendered and
that the terms and obligations hereof shall not become binding uoon the State of Wash-
ington unless and until accepted and approved hereon in writing for the State of Washing-
ton, Department of Highways. by the Chief Right of Way Agent.
