Hearing Examiner:
In accordance with Tukwila Municipal Code 8.22.250, PCL Construction Services, Inc is providing
this letter as written notification of appeal to the noise variance decision received February 15, 2007.
1. The appellant filing the appeal is PCL Construction Services, Inc.
2. The Director has denied the application for noise variance based on the findings and
conclusions contained in the staff report. PCL requests that they be allowed to perform work
during restricted hours.
3. PCL requests that work be allowed during restricted hours in areas zoned industrial and/or
commercial. There are no residences in the areas that would be affected if the ambient noise
level were exceeded by construction noise. The Director's decision should be modified to
allow work to be performed during restricted hours in the following locations;
a. erection of spans B25A thru B10
b. erection of spans A42 thru A16
The appellant named is PCL Construction Services, Inc. and the signature below verifies the truth of
the matters stated in this appeal.
