SUBJECT:
Boundary Line Adjustment: Upland Industries Plat
I have conferred with Larry Hard, Deputy City Attorney,
and have concluded the proposed Boundary Line Adjustment
is in the best interest of both parties as well as the City
of Tukwila.
The Public Works Department has reviewed the legal descrip-
tion for accuracy and has approved the application. Inas-
much as the stipulation recommended by the Planning Commis-
sion regarding issuance of building permits on lots 8 - 11
is anticipated to be so included in the City Council approval
of the Final Plat, I recommend approval of this application...

Dear Gary:
Pursuant to our telephone discussion, I have attached
the completed Boundary Line Adjustment Application, which
will allow the conveyance of a portion of Upland property
adjacent southerly to our proposed Tukwila Industrial Park
Plat, to William E. Boeing, Jr.
The conveyance to Mr. Boeing will allow him to construct
a roadway and utilities, to be dedicated to the City,adjacent
to the south line of our plat. in accordance with the Sale
Agreement previously forwarded to you. The application
contains the legal description for the adjusted area and a
print delineating the area graphically.
The Declaration has been duly executed on behalf of
Union Pacific Land Resources Corporation. Your review and
approval of the Boundary Line Adjustment is requested.
If you have additional questions or require more information
please advise.

EXHIBIT "A"
A parcel of land situate in the Southwest Quarter of
the Southeast Quarter (SWIISE4) of Section 26, Township 23 North,
Range 4 East of the Willamette neridian, City of Tukwila, King •
County, State of Washington, bounded and described as follows:
Commencing at the south quarter corner of said Section 26;
thence along the'south line of said Section, South 87 •
degrees 44 minutes 08 seconds East, a distance of 140.16 feet to
the east line of that certain parcel of land heretofore conveyed
by Union Pacific Land Resources Corporation to Jack A. Benaroya
Company by Warranty Deed dated June 22, 1972, U.P.L.R.C. L.S. D.A.
No. 703; •
thence along said east line, North 1 degree 12.minutes
25 seconds East, a distance of 137.07 feet to the southwest corner
of that certain parcel of land heretofore conveyed by Union Pacific
Railroad Company to Union Pacific Land Resources Corporation by
Quitclaims Deed dated April 1, 1971, U.P.L.R.C. Audit No. 494; •
thence along the south line of said deeded parcel, South

to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, said point being the beginning of
a non - tangent curve to the right, a radial line of which bears

distance of 17.91 feet to a point on the easterly line of said
deeded parcel;
thence along said easterly line, South 4 degrees: 43
minutes 06 seconds East, a distance of 27.19 feet to the south-
east corner of said deeded parcel;
thence along the south line of said deeded parcel, North
87 degrees 55 minutes 02 seconds West,•a• distance of 21.00 feet to
the southwest corner of said deeded parcel;
thence along the west line of said deeded parcel, North
1 degree 49 minutes 28 seconds East, a distance of 27.00 feet to
the Point of Beginning.
Containing an area of 23,975 square feet, more or less,
