Dear Mr. Baker,
I am sorry I missed your breakfast meeting of June 14th. I was
there, but missed any posted notice. The hotel desk, cafeteria
and hotel bus boy claimed to know nothing of your meeting.
Had I been present, I would have asked for relief from the irri-
gation requirements included in the approval of the Treck addition.
Our plans do not define the amount or type of new landscaping. Ex-
isting landscaping is maturing nicely without an automatic irrigation
system, in addition, the new planting will consist of trees only in
existing lawn on the east property line.
Since the existing landscaping is doing well without an irrigation
system, and since the new tree plantings will not require an irri-
gation system to survive (street type trees), we are convinced that
such a system would be unnecessary and serve little purpose.
We respectfully request that the owner be granted relief from this
requirement. Should you have questions or require more information,
please call.

The Tukwila Planning Commission, sitting as the Board of Architectural
Review, reviewed the plans for the above- referenced project at their
regular meeting conducted 26 May 1977.
The Commission approved the plans with the following stipulations:
1. The new curb cut located near the northeast corner of the
property be 24 feet in width.
2. The new landscaping indicated complement the existing landscape.
3. Architectural screening of roof - mounted equipment.
4. Complementary exterior treatment of the north and east elevations.
5. The plans be reviewed by the Andover ACC.

Site Plan: Expansion of Treck Photographic
Treck Photographic, located at the east end of Treck Drive, has proposed
expansion of their facility.
The proposal reflects an ultimate facility of approximately 41,000 square
feet and 80 parking spaces, well beyond the 59 spaces required.
Staff recommends approval subject to the following stipulations:
1. The new curb cut located near the northeast corner of the property be
24 feet in width.
2. The new landscaping indicated complement the existing landscape.
3. Architectural screening of roof- mounted equipment.
4. Complementary exterior treatment of the north and east elevations.

In accordance with our conversation on June 15, 1977, enclosed
is Sheet P -1 showing the building signs as we proposed to
install them. Also included on the sheet are the calculations
indicating 33 lineal feet allowed on the east face. Our .
design indicates 36 lineal feet which is slightly over the
calculated length. However, because of the consistency of
the sizes varying only from 8 ft. to 11 ft. and the fact that
the area is only over slightly, I understand that this is
within tolerable limits.
