Permits presuming to give authority to violate or cancel the provisions of the code or other ordinances of the City of Tukwila shall not be valid. The issuance of a permit based on construction documents and other data shall not prevent the Building Official from requiring the correction of errors in the construction documents and other data. 20: ** *PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT CONDITIONS * ** 21: The applicant must notify the City Utility Inspector at (206)433 -0179 upon commencement and completion of work at least 24 hours in advance. Driveway width shall be a 10' minimum and 20' maximum. Slope shall be a maximum of 18 %. Fire flow and flow duration for dwellings having a fire area in excess of 3,600 square feet (344.8 m2) shall not be less than that specified in Table A- 11I-A -1. Exception: A reduction in required fire flow of 80 percent, as approved by the chief, is allowed when the building is provided with an approved automatic sprinkler system. (IFC Appendix B105.1) 41: Fire hydrants shall conform to American Water Works Association specifications C- 502 -54; it shall be compression type, equipped with two 2 -1/2" N.S.T. hose ports and one 5" Storz pumper discharge port, and shall have a 1 -1/4" Pentagon open -lift operating nut. The reason for the delay was a property line dispute, making it necessary to have a survey completed. The surveyor's schedule prohibited him from completing the survey within my time schedule. In addition, we are also waiting for the engineer to revise the foundation plan. Once we started the project, we discovered the existing foundation that was not structurally sound, so changes had to be made, and the corresponding revisions obtained and submitted to the building department.
