All capacities are based on natural gas firing, with the indicated minimum based on .25" wc mixture pressure and on -ratio firing. Two maximum capacities are shown. The on- ratio maximum is attainable when firing against balanced pressure conditions and requires 3" wc natural gas pressure at mixer inlet. Maximum capacities will be reduced by 5 to 50% when the M•500 unit is fired against .15" we to .75" wc back pressure (.15" wc-.50" we for other sizes). Do not use against higher back pressures. The rich maximum capacity shown requires at least 6" wc gas pressure at mixer inlet, and is at- tainable only when firing in open air. Data given for single STICKTITETM Nozzles lists the flame length that may be expected under rich maximum firing conditions. Flame will be shorter under all other circumstances. The balance of the table lists the ST:::'.TITETM Nozzle sizing required to achieve similar perform- ance from multiple- burner installations. In those cases, actual minimum attainable may be higher than cataloged. Mixer Designation Capacity (Btu /hr) Max. Mixt. Pres. (` wc) Single STICKTITE Hoz. ELECTRICAL The installation must be wired and GROUNDED in ac- cordance with focal codes or in their absence, with the National Electric Code ANSIINFPA No. 70 -1987 or latest edition. For the 120 VAC wiring to the burner, use copper con- ductor wire not lighter than #14 AWG. If a fused dis- connect is used, it should be fused for a minimum of 15 amps. CAUTION: Each installation must include suitable limit controls. Existing oil burner combination limit and operating controls are normally not suitable for gas burner use. CAUTION: The burner is equipped with it's own 24 VAC transformer. Do not add any 24 VAC power con- suming device in the 24 VAC control circuit of the burner, as it could overload the transformer. Set the room thermostat "heat anticipator" for the total current draw of the 24 VAC burner operating circuit. (HSG200 0.55 amps, HSG400 0.7 amps) NOTE: If any of the original burner wiring must be replaced, It must be replaced with #18 AWG 105 degrees C wire or equivalent. See Section 3 - Operation and Troubleshooting for ap- plicable burner wiring diagrams. ORIFICE H. MAIN BURNER ORIFICE SIZING AND INSTALLATION The HSG200 and HSG400 power gas conversion burners are approved for use with natural and propane gas only. The HSG200 and HSG400 burner models are ship- ped labeled and orificed for natural gas. To convert to propane gas and /or increase BTU /HR ,input on natural or propane gas, an orifice kit is supplied with each burner with the orifices shown in Figure 10. When selecting a desired BTU /HR ,input, . figure 140,000 BTU's per gallon of oil input.,For example: fur- nace or boiler rating of .75 gph. The 0.75=x140,000 105,000 BTU's input rate. It may be possible to reduce the firing rate on natural or propane gas 15% to 20 %, as most older appliances are oversized for the heating Toad. To remove or interchange main orifice discs refer to the exploded parts view drawing in this manual. 1. Remove slotted orifice cap, Item #40,,making sure orifice cap gasket, Item #39, stays attached to orifice cap. 2. Remove orifice spring, Item #38, to .access and remove orifice disc, Item #42,,`. 3. According to Mr. Ed Jerloro, Manufacturing Manager for United Brake Systems, there are no activities or any quantity of materials within this space that would classify this as a "N" occupancy. United Brake Systems re- manufactures truck brakes. The following briefly describes the process and should address your concerns 1. The old brake ■hoes are washed to remove grease and dirt by using 195 degree F water and pressure. 2. The old shoe linings are removed in one piece by punching the rivets out from the backside of the shoes. 3. The shoes are then placed in a steel shot blaster to remove the rust and taken down to bare metal in preparation for painting. 4. The shoe is than dipped in a water base paint end hung to dry. 5. The new lining is then riveted to the shoe. Note: No new linings are manufactured on site. The process does not utilize any "A -3" or better flammable or combustible liquids; or introduce any unsafe levels of airborne particles. Following the company's previous standard practice, the waste generated shall be periodically monitored and analyzed. Any handling and disposal of waste shall by methods that are approved end proper.
