On 12 -1 -14 at 1445hrs Tukwila Police officers responded to a report of a
stabbing in the 14200 block of 42nd Ave S. Officers contacted a 14 year -old male that
had a minor laceration to his hand. Officers soon received information that the suspect,
a middle -aged male, had fled to a nearby apartment complex.
Tukwila officers located the apartment where the suspect was last seen and took
necessary precautions to ensure the safety of neighbors in and around the apartment
complex.
Valley SWAT is currently on location with negotiators to ensure a safe resolution to the
situation. Updates will be provided as they occur as this incident is currently still active
and ongoing.
