Last night at approximately 2000hrs Tukwila Police initiated a tactical operation
utilizing Valley SWAT and negotiators to assist with apprehending a stabbing suspect
who was believed to be inside an apartment in a complex located in the 14200 block of
42nd Ave S.
After several attempts to make contact with the suspect, Valley SWAT operators
made entry into the apartment to find that the suspect had fled prior to police
containment. The identity of the suspect is known to police and he is not believed to be
a direct threat to the public.
