QUIT CLAIM DEED
IN THE MATTER OF SR 5 (PSH No. 1), South 188th St. Interchange (Excess
Right of Way)
;3 _._' ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, that THE STATE OF WASHINGTON, for
and in consideration of SEVEN HUNDRED FIFTY AND N0 /100 ($750.00; DOLLARS,
hereby conveys and quitclaims unto KING COUNTY, a political subdivision
r of the State of Washington. all its right, title and interest, io and to

the following described real property situated in King County, State of

o Washington:
That portion of the northwest quarter of the aouthvest quarter of
Section 35, Township 23 North, Range 4 East, W.M., described as
follows:
Beginning at a point opposite Highway Engineer's Station (herein-
after referred to as HES) IN 2442+33.3 on the LW Line survey of
State Highway Route 5 and South 77 ° 25'00" East 220 feet therefrom;
thence South 77 ° 25'00" East 110 feet to a point opposite said HES
and 330 feet easterly therefrom; thence northerly, parallel with
said LW Line, 317.24 feet to a point opposite HES 2445+33.3 thereon;
thence Nord' 80 Weat, along the southerly right of way line
of said Highway, 115 feet to a point opposite said HES and 215 feet
easterly therefrom; thence South 09'40 West, along tbe easterly
right of way line of said Highway, 311.43 feet to the point of
beginning.
As a condition of this conveyance, the grantee herein agrees that
no above-ground improvements will be built upon the above described
property and further agrees that landscaping and screening will be
done in accordance with that King County plan dated Jane 1, 1976.
The grantee herein, its successors or assigns, eball have no right
of ingress and egress to, from and between said SR 5 and the lands
herein conveyed; nor shall the grantee herein, its successors or assigns,
be entitled to compensation for any loss of light, view and air occasioned
by than location, construction, maintenance or operatfoe of acid highway.
The specific details concerning all of ehich my be found on sheet
2 of that Certain plan entitled SL 5 (PSH No. 1), South 188th St. Interchange,
now of record and on file in the Office of the Secretary of Transportation
at O1ympia, linthington, bearing date of approval April 12, 1966.
The lands herein described are mot required for State higlmay
purposes and are conveyed pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 78, Laws
of 1977, First Extraordinary Session.
