The State of Washington deeded that certain property to King County by deed dated
November 9, 1977, recorded November 14, 1977 under King County Auditor's File No
7711140894
By this letter the Washington State Department of Transportation hereby removes from
the above - mentioned deed the following paragraph

As a condition of this conveyance, the grantee herein agrees that no
above- ground improvements will be built upon the above described
property and further agrees that landscaping and screening will be done in
accordance with that King County plan dated June 1, 1976

IN THE MATTER OF SR 5 (PSH No. 1), South 188th St. Interchange (Excess
Right of Way)
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, that THE STATE OP WASHINGTON, for
and in consideration of SEVEN HUNDRED FIFTY AND NO /100 ($750.00) DOLLARS,
hereby conveys and quitclaims unto KING COUNTY, a political subdivision
of the State of Washington, all its right, title and interest, in and to
the following described real property situated in King County, State of
Washington:
That portion of the northwest quarter of the southwest quarter of
Section 35, Township 23 North, Range 4 East, W.H. , deacribed ae
follows'
Beginning at a point opposite Highway Engineer's Station (herein-
after referred to as HES) LW 2442+33.3 on the LW Line survey of
State Highway Route 5 and South 77 ° 25'00" East 220 feet therefrom;
thence South 77'25'00" East 110 feet to a point opposite said HES
and 330 feet easterly therefrom; thence northerly, parallel with
said LW Line, 317.24 feet to a point opposite HES 2445 +33.3 thereon;
thence North 80'25'OO" West, along the southerly right of way line
of said Highway, 115 feet to a point opposite said HES and 215 feet
easterly therefrom; thence South 09 ° 40'55" West, along the easterly
right of way line of said Highway, 311.43 feat to the point of
beginning.
As a condition of this conveyance, the grantee herein agrees that
no above - ground improvements will be built upon the above described
property and further agrees that landscaping and screening will be
done in accordance with that King County plan dated June 1, 1976.
The grantee herein, its successors or aasigne, shall have no right
of ingress and egress to, from and between said SR 5 and the lands
herein conveyed; nor shall the grantee herein, its successors or assigns,
be entitled to compensation for any lose of light, view and air occasioned
by the location, construction, maintenance or operation of said highway.
The specific details concerning all of which may be found on sheet
2 of that certain plan entitled SR 5 (PSH No. 1), South 188th St. Interchange,
now of record and on file in the Office of the Secretary of Transportation
at Olympia, Washington, bearing date of approval April 12, 1966.
The lands herein described are not required for State highway
purposes and are conveyed pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 78, Laws
of 1977, Firat Extraordinary Session.
