CALL FOR BIDS
NOTICE OF INTENT TO SELL CITY PROPERTY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by the City of Tukwila,
Washington at the Office of the City Clerk, in Tukwila City Hall, 6200 Southcenter Boulevard,
Tukwila, Washington 98188, up to the hour of 9:00 a.m. on Monday, December 22, 2014.
Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud at 10:00 a.m. on December 22, 2014 for:

Location: North side of Longacres Way
Parcel: 242304 -9034
Land: 138,382 SF
Building: Vacant
Zoning: Tukwila Urban Center (TUC)
Minimum Bid: $1,600,000

All bids must be submitted to the City Clerk, Tukwila City Hall, 6200 Southcenter Boulevard,
Tukwila, Washington, 98188 no later than 9:00 a.m. December 22, 2014 and must be clearly
marked as:
BID FOR CITY PROPERTY
PARCEL #242304 -9034
All bid proposals must be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in the form of a cash deposit,
certified or cashier's check, postal money order, or surety bond made payable to the City of
Tukwila, for a sum of ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00). Should the successful bidder and City
enter into the sales contract, the bid deposit shall be applied as earnest money toward the
purchase payment. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such sales contract and
furnish satisfactory payment, the bid deposit/bond shall be forfeited to the City of Tukwila.
The City of Tukwila hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any
contracts entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be
afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated
against on the grounds of race, color, creed, sex, or national origin in consideration for an
award.
The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive any informalities in the bidding and
make the award as deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
