Planning Commission Meeting Minutes
Date: December 13, 2012

Location: City Hall Council Chambers
Present: Brooke Alford, Chair; Thomas McLeod, Vice - Chair; Commissioners, Louise Strander, David
Shumate, Sharon Mann, and Cassandra Hunter
Absent: Commission, Mike Hansen
Staff: Nora Gierloff, Deputy Director, and Wynetta Bivens, Planning Commission Secretary
Joyce Trantina, Project Analyst, gave an overview of the Tukwila Strategic Plan. Some of the things she
talked about were the three committees that that were involved; community, business, and employee outreach
and their input; the key goals identified to be addressed; the vision for Tukwila, and next steps, such as
implementation. She said that the plan is a 10 year plan and it will be reviewed annually
