THIS INDENTURE, made this A4164day of Akut. ,
John Roach and Carlotta Roach
Grantor, and King County, a legal subdivision of-the State of Washington, Grantee:
wITNESSETH, that first party, in consideration of Mutual Benefits ,
receipt of which is acknowledged, and the benefits wh c w 1 accrue to the.land
of Grantor by tha exercise of the rights herein granted, do hereby remise, release
and' for ' YYileh'iE unto the Grantee, its successors and assigns, an easement for
the purposes hereinafter stated along the right bank of the Duwamish River,
within a strip of land within the following described property.
Beginning N 00° 21' 24" E. 389.77 feet and west 711.257 feet from the East
/4 corner; thence east 216.60 feet; thence S 22° 32' 15" E, 30 feet; thence
S 73° 49' 45" W, 94.73 feet; thence S59° 36' 45" W, 112.50 feet; thence S
08° 12' 45" W, 150 feet to the Duwamish River; thence northwesterly along
said River 115 feet more or less to a point from which the True Point of
Beginning bears N 23° 10' 41" E; thence N 23° 10' 41" E, 225 feet more or
less to the True Point of Beginning less County Road all in the 14-E
Section 4, Township 23 North, Range 4 East, W.M., King County, Washington.
Easement: That portion of the above described property lying southerly of
the southerly margin of Miller Road, King County load #57 also known as S.
104th Street all in the N E 1/4 of Section 4, Township 23 North, Range 4 East,
W.m., King County, Washington.
Said easement is for the following purposes:
The right to•enter upon the above described land to construct, reconstruct,
maintain and repair a bank protection and /or other flood control works,
including all appurtenances thereto, together with right to trim, cut, fell
and remove all such trees, brush and other natural growth and obstructions
as are necessary to provide adequate clearance and to eliminate interference
with, or hazards to the structures.
