We are proposing to improve lots 8, 9 and 10, Block 4, Riverton Replat of lots
1 -5 Fostoria Garden tracts, Vol. 13 -40 Record of Plats, King County, Washington
less roads, by removing the two old "dilapidated structures and adding fill to bring
final grade to the approximate elevation of abutting S. 134th St. (Valley Street.)
We are therefore requesting a hauling permit, a grading and fill permit, and .
permission to remove the two old buildings on the property.
An assessment summary letter has been submitted to the Planning Coordinator
with a copy directed to you.

Dear Mr. Moss:
Per our recent phone conversation and your subsequent request, the following
is submitted to augment our request for a grading permit requested from .
the office of the Public Works Director.
The property involved is lots 8, 9 and 10, Block 4, Riverton Replat of lots 1 -5
Fostoria Garden tracts, Vol. 13 -40 Record of Plats, King County, Washington
less road. It is zoned M -1, Light Industry, and is located within the City of
Tukwila and located outside the State Flood Control Zone. The parcel contains
241 487+ sq. ft.
We are proposing to bring in fill material to raise the grade of the property to
the approximate elevation of existing S. 134th St. (Valley St.) which abuts the
property. This will necessitate the removal of a small house and shed, both of
which are extremely old and idilapldated, have no value whatsoever and are very
likely subject to condemnation,
The property is too low in its present state and by adding 3-6 feet of fill the use
value of the parcel will be greatly enhanced. The fill material to be used is a
cement plant by- product which is currently being used as fill on the nearby prop-
erty at the corner of S. 133rd St. and S. 134th St. A copy of lab reports is
attached.
A few trees and shrubs and some grasses will be removed prior to placing of the
fill. All of the trees are small weed trees or of the ornamental type.
