Two (2) exits required per UBC Section 3202. Spacing per 3202(c). 2. All doors, including exits shall be identified per OSHA, Section 19.10.37(q). 3. Per UFC Sec. 10.104(b), "All doors in or leading to exits shall be maintained openable from the inside without the use of a key or any special knowledge or effort at all times when the building or area served thereby is occupied ". 4. Walls to be fire stopped per UBC Sec. 2517(f). Sprinkler system shall be extended to cover the office areas. Fire extinguishers shall be provided per NFPA #10, as a minimum requirement. Extinguishers shall be located so as to be in plain view (if at all possible). If not in plain view, they shall be identified with a sign stating "FIRE EXTINGUISHER" with an arrow pointing. When extinguishers are hung on posts or columns, the post or column shall be painted bright red for a distance of 12 inches down from the ceiling (or roof). If the color of extinguishers is other than red, they shall be provided with a background or mounting board, red in color, not less than 2 square feet in size.
